Compare Prototype

Challenge

To create a feature that will allow the user to easily compare and digest
products with a lot of specs.

SOLUTION

Since compare on most mobile platforms do not exist, I decided to curate a list of top products for the user to select and compare from. An easy to read chart that displays no more than two product details at a time will allow the user to digest the information easily. By limiting the compare chart to key features, it allows the user to intake the high level information, and if they want to dive deeper, they may click on an item to go to the product description page.

Each option has an experience that allows the user to choose and pick from a curated list of top rated items. This narrows down the selection process and gives the user a good source to compare from.

The charts are different ways for a user to digest the information at hand. It is a challenge to display the necessary information so I decided to limit the features to compare for appliances. By limiting to key features, it allows the user to intake the high level information, and if they want to dive deeper, they may click on an item to go to the product description page.
