CHallenge
To create a design system that could be used at an enterprise level for all designers.
SOLUTION and process
Audited the current master sketch file that was bloated with 500+ symbols. This allowed us to see what could be removed and improve the process to design.
Conducted research on in-house designers to see collect feedback on early versions of the design system
Documented each new component and symbol that was being created in a centralized website that any employee could access.
Designed new components and updated old elements to follow brand guidelines
RESULTS
Version 1 launched October 2019.
